My Tryst with Online Moneymaking
Lately, I have been reading articles on financial prudence and investing.
One of the key takeaways I learned from all the articles is to have multiple sources of incomes. We should never be dependent on a single source of income which we generally do. Most of Indian are happy to have a decent job, fixed monthly income and being in the comfort zone. But what this living in a comfort zone does is to put us in danger of being susceptible to financial fluctuations.
So, I decided to look for options to secure an extra source of income.
There are plenty of options available to earn part-time but being a permanently employed guy, serving 48 hours a week, I could think of working outside after my duty hours. The only option left was online.

I have done a lot of research regarding ways to earn money online like online surveys, online tutoring, content writing, stocks and web development.
- I did surveys for almost a month on swagbucks which I felt was good for students who have lots of free time. But I could earn only 500 Rs.
- Tried to learn new language python from Edx which provides varieties of good and in-depth courses. But lost the momentum and now I feel to have forgotten almost everything that I had learnt.
- Applied for online tutoring on Vedantu but could not start due to lack of opening for my area of interest.
- I even tried to do some freelancing in Mechanical Design on Fiverr but realized the competition is already fierce and many skilled designers are available there fighting for limited offers.
- Almost every day I hear people's blog becoming famous, somebody earning money from an advertisement from their blogging site. Taking a queue from that I started writing blogs and the result is evident from a single article I have written in months and this being the second writing in my blog.
In the end again at zero with no progress at all even after almost 9 months into my unsuccessful journey to earn money online.
Sometimes I felt demotivated due to lack of skills required to survive in the online market where everything runs on technology, programming skills and my mechanical background does not help anyway.
I realized that almost all the option which require no skills like online surveys require a lot of time and those that require more skills are not easy to learn and take long-time dedication and most important patience to bear fruit.

All the unsuccessful attempts to earn money made it clear that though it may feel very easy when we hear people making money by freelancing, video blogging or other means but requires a lot of special skills, time and persistence.
It is evident that to earn money online is not something that happens overnight or by fluke but require constant nurturing and relentless efforts
